A second male cardinal has been spotted.
The third mourning dove put in an appearance.
And the woodpecker is a red-bellied woodpecker.
Loads of house sparrows,

We have lots of suet hangers for woodpeckers and have never had so many birds till this year. Finches, cardinals, bluejays, nuthatches, and of course sparrows keep us amused. I always detested the many sparrows till I read they are the first to come to the feeders and bring the other birds.There is an on going war between the crows and hawks in the large trees in the back yard.
